New Year Free Screensaver is lovely screensaver that includes lots of images with a Christmas and New year theme. The images show streets decorated with ornaments, trees and lights, different Christmas ornaments, snowed cabins and cottages, Christmas trees with gifts, etc. The images are of good quality and they are shown with a different transition effect, which, sadly, cannot be customized. Unfortunately, the screensaver lacks music or sound effects, which would make it much more enjoyable and attractive.
The images can also be viewed before running the screensaver in a small previewer in the settings menu. From this menu you can also customize the video mode, the time the images remain on the screen, the transition time, and the screen brightness. If you want, you can also add a 12h or 24h digital clock and FPS counter, which will appear in one of the corners of your screen.
In short, New Year Free Screensaver is a nice scrensaver that can help you decorate your screen during this lovely time of the year completely for free.
